Welcome to the most northerly of the leeward islands of the Antilles. The island is a part of the British Kingdom, and is well known for its landscape. The island is 35 square kilometers, similar to St. Maarten. It is unique however because of its length, Anguilla is 26 kilometers long and 6 kilometers wide, and with a bare and flat landscape is was given the nickname the “Eel”. The local population is of Caribbean Antillean decent and their official language is English. Because of its anonymity, it invites a large amount of high paying visitors who want to stay off the grid.

Anguilla is home to the most spectacular white sandy beaches in the world. The texture of the sand is fluffy and smooth, a heaven to walk and lay on. Anguilla holds many uninhabited islands, that are accessible by boat, the popular ones, are Dog island, Scrub island, Sombrero islands, and Prickly Pear. A day in Anguilla is filled with new discoveries, as the island holds 33 beaches.

Because of its unique beaches and offshore islands, boating in Anguilla is very popular. You can make your way to the famous Four Seasons hotel, Cap Juluca and anchor in front of the beautiful white and rounded building tops, its a sight to see. Sandy island is a famous spot, where a small sand bank lays with a little hut that serves some fresh lobsters. A day in Anguilla is best spent on a boat!
